Going to sleep on the night of October 1st/2nd, I realized that it had been exactly a year since my first cross-Atlantic flight landed in São Paulo, with several hours still separating me from my destination – a town called São Carlos, where I would spend the next month of my life… I decided that the “anniversary” could be used as a reason to write about that experience – and share some photos from that month!
