Wouldn’t it be a shame to have a wonderful life and not notice it?
— Michael Neill
Let’s talk about a wonderful life today.
Is there anything that seems to be preventing you from having a wonderful life?
Stop for a moment and think about it.
What is it?
Too much stress? Too much work? Too little energy? Too little sleep? Too many demands? Too little fun?..
We all have our reasons. Sometimes they pile up so high that we are convinced: life is hard and there is nothing we could do, because nothing that we try to do makes any difference at all.
But what if doing things is not working because the solution for the problems you have in your life is not in doing?
What if the answer to the question
“What should I do?”
When you start seeing for yourself that at the core you are already happy, healthy and whole, you will get why this is the true answer.
When you know that you and your life are OK unless you convince yourself otherwise, you will see that the only kinds “doing” that might be necessary are un-doing and un-learning and stopping yourself from following certain trains of thought for too long.
But neither of these is really about doing at all.
While very simple in its essence, this can be an extremely hard truth to get around to.
Your life does not need fixing.
You do not need fixing.
You are OK.
You are enough.
You are worthy of love.
And everything is well.
And when you have all these boxes checked… Isn’t it a wonderful life?
