Note: This is a post about the day 7 of the Thirty Days of Focus, see the introductory post for more details.
Today, I focused on section C, the one which had caused me quite some trouble yesterday.
Integrating the new knowledge that I had just received from the improvisation course on Coursera, I extended the second part of section C and marked it as a separate section. To keep the rest of the score intact, this new section received letter F for now.
Next, it was this new section C that now inherited that feeling of incompleteness. I changed it around a bit, but still did not get it to the point where it sounds OK. I will make another attempt at it tomorrow :)
Here’s the altered part of the score, it corresponds to the page 2 from the day 6.
Recap of the day 7:
- Applied freshly acquired knowledge to the composition, particularly the concept of developing a theme to a certain point and not changing the topic in every sentence. The extended part received letter F in the today’s score.
- Made a new attempt to complete the beginning of section C – still not there.
