I would like to share with you some important updates.
I am involved in two very exciting projects, both of them will be globally launching in January 2014, and even both on January 7.
The first of them is Live Your Legend LOCAL, local gatherings of people who are interested in pursuing their passions and doing the work that matters. I will be contributing to the meetings in Bremen (and, probably, in Hamburg). Initially, we will be meeting once a month in person, and will see how it goes from there. (Links: registration for the meet-ups in Bremen, global announcement)
The second project is The Desire Map Book Club, devoted to Danielle LaPorte’s book. These sessions will be taking small groups of people interested in the desire mapping process and life philosophy. We will go through the process in the flow of several weekly meetings, engage in discussions, and ultimately come out with inspired, soul-based goals for the Year 2014. In the meanwhile, I am also working on a small project of my own. This project has been helping me to return to active and creative mood in tiny steps. I am building a profile / a photo portfolio at SeeMe, by adding one photo every day. The initial target is thirty days and I still have several days to go. I haven’t decided what will I do after I reach that target.
I took some of the photos from the Take-a-Picture challenge in July, but also put there many photos that I had not shared before. You could check it out at lik.see.me (and support me by sharing the link to the profile with your friends/followers on Facebook and Twitter via the “Support Me” button).
Lastly, another possibility of contributing and connecting in small groups that I have been considering is the Storyline process by Donald Miller (No, unfortunately he is not launching a global movement on January 7 :)) Donald Miller was an amazing closing speaker at World Domination Summit 2013, where I first heard about him. He writes memoirs. In one of his books, “A Million Miles in a Thousand Years”, Don tells how he learned about what makes good stories while writing a screenplay based on his other book, Blue Like Jazz. As he was discovering the elements of better stories, he asked himself, what can we do to live better stories, to live lives worth telling about. The Storyline process, I believe, is a refined and streamlined process from the the discoveries he made at that period of time. I don’t know much about the process itself yet, but I have ordered the workbook and going to check it personally first, before including it in my offering.
